Agreement

These terms take effect when you first use our website or engage us for a service, and continue until either party ends the relationship as described below. Where we sign a separate written agreement or statement of work with you, that document governs the project and takes priority over these terms if the two conflict.

Our services

We design and build software, including web and mobile applications, cloud and AI solutions, product design, and ongoing support and maintenance. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for each engagement are set out in its proposal or agreement.

We may change, pause or discontinue any part of our website or our general service offering at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for such changes, except where your signed agreement says otherwise.

Your information

You agree to give us accurate, current and complete information when you contact us, sign up or start a project, and to keep it up to date. If information you provide is false or incomplete, we may suspend or decline work until it is corrected. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Payment for services

Fees, currency and payment schedule are set out in your proposal or agreement, usually as milestones. Invoices are due on the terms stated on them. We may ask for reasonable documents to confirm that the person paying is authorised to do so.

If a payment is overdue, we may pause work on the project until the account is brought up to date.

Cancellations and refunds

Either party may end an engagement by giving written notice as set out in its agreement. You remain responsible for paying for work completed and costs committed up to the date of cancellation. Any refund of amounts paid in advance for work not yet started is handled under the terms of your agreement.

Ownership of work

Ownership of the software, designs and other deliverables we create for you is set out in your agreement, and normally passes to you once the related invoices are paid in full. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and grant you the rights needed to use them as part of your deliverables.

Our website content

The text, graphics, logos, designs and code on this website belong to Veritos LLC or its content providers and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute them without our written permission. Using the site does not give you any rights in our intellectual property.

Your submissions

When you send us ideas, feedback, files or other material through our website or forms, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to use it to respond to you and to provide our services. We do not claim ownership of content that belongs to you, and we treat project materials you share as confidential.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it or access it without permission, no automated scraping, and no sending false, harmful or unlawful information through our forms.

Links to other sites

Our website may link to websites run by others. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. You visit them at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Veritos LLC and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the website, the conduct of any third party, or unauthorised access to your data.

Our total liability for any project is limited as set out in that project's agreement.
